Go wild for wildflowers
Your toolkit for bringing wildflowers back!
Cheshire has lost 99% of its wildflower meadows since 1960
They provide important homes and food for wildlife. Insects thrive, birds feed and small animals find shelter. However, it is not just meadows. Wildflowers grow in our gardens, towns, woodlands, hedgerows and road verges, if they are allowed.
Large or small, balcony or back garden, your outdoor space can be a stepping stone to a wider network of wildlife havens. Below you will find ideas and inspiration, help guides and resources as well as campaigns you can take part in to help wildflowers thrive.
