Each lottery entry in Win for Wildlife gets assigned a unique number. Each lottery number costs £2 and will be entered into the prize draw once every month. These numbers are submitted into a Random Number Generator.
The lottery number drawn first wins the 1st prize, the second number drawn wins the 2nd prize, the third drawn wins 3rd prize and so on. We do not host rollovers. The draw takes place on the 20th of every month (or the next working day if the 20th falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday).
Lancashire Wildlife Trust publishes the winning lottery numbers on this page each month. If a player does not have internet access, they are welcome to call Cumbria Wildlife Trust's Lottery Team on 01539 816300 (Monday to Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm) to find out if they have won.
Prize cheques are automatically issued to the winners and posted out.
North West Wildlife Trusts reserve the right to publish winners’ names for publicity purposes, but will be deliberately vague and not include both first and last names simultaneously (e.g., Mr Taylor, from Barrow / Sharron, from Preston).
Win for Wildlife is drawn monthly.
The first three people to be drawn are deemed winners for the month:
1st Drawn = £500 prize
2nd Drawn = £100 prize
3rd Drawn = £25 prize
Runners up - there tend to be several runners up, depending on how many entries we receive.
